To use MousMou, you create an account with your email address. Your data is stored both on your phone (so the app works offline) and on our servers (so you can recover it on a new device). The information involved:
As soon as you're signed in, the information above is continuously and securely synced to our processor Supabase (servers in Europe — see section 3). You're the only person able to access it, via your email address. You can delete your entire account at any time from inside the app (My account → Delete my account).
MousMou never collects: your password (we don't use one), your phone number, your postal address, your personal medical info, your activity on other apps, your advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID).
The processors below are involved only when you use the corresponding features. MousMou has signed a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with each:

Data transfers to the United States (Resend, Google) are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, in accordance with the GDPR.
Editorial neutrality of search results. The lists of vets, parks, and boarding facilities shown in the app are sourced entirely from third-party public databases (OpenStreetMap, Google Maps). MousMou does not select these businesses, does not vet the quality of their services, receives no commission, and makes no recommendation. Ratings and reviews shown are those published by Google Maps users. Any contractual relationship (booking, boarding, service) is entered into directly between you and the relevant business, without involvement from MousMou.
MousMou uses none of: Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Crashlytics, Sentry, ad networks, social login SDKs, tracking pixels.
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA (California), you have the following rights:
All your data is visible inside the app. You can also export a full copy of your pet record as JSON from the Documents tab ("Full backup" feature).
Every field in the app is directly editable.
You can turn cloud backup off at any time (My account → Sign out). Notifications can be controlled from your phone's iOS / Android Settings.
Withdrawing consent (turning off cloud backup, deleting your account) takes effect immediately and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
MousMou does not "sell" your personal information and does not "share" it for targeted advertising purposes, as defined by the CCPA. You still have the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Communications with Supabase and Resend are encrypted in transit (TLS). Data stored in Supabase is encrypted at rest. Access to your cloud data is protected by a one-time code sent to your email — there is no password to steal.
No system is perfectly safe: if a security incident affects your data, you will be notified within the timeframe required by law (72 hours under the GDPR).
MousMou is intended for adult pet owners. The app does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA) or 16 (GDPR). If you believe a child has provided personal information through MousMou, please email admin@utilicore.org and we will delete it.
The MousMou app does not use cookies. This web page uses only the technical cookies required by GitHub Pages (the host).
Any changes to this policy will be dated at the top of the page. Substantial changes will be flagged in the app's release notes.
This policy is governed by French law. For users residing in the EU, the mandatory provisions of your national law remain applicable. Any dispute may be brought before the competent courts at the controller's domicile or, for consumers, before the courts of the consumer's place of residence.
